The Honda XL750 Transalp: A Top Adventure Bike

The Honda XL750 Transalp is currently one of the most popular adventure bikes on the market. Created by Honda to dominate the middleweight ADV segment, the Transalp competes with models like the Yamaha Tenere 700 and Aprilia Tuareg 660 by combining off-road capability with long-distance touring comfort.

Like all new bikes, there are some compromises. However, Touratech, a well-known and trusted brand, may have the perfect solution for Honda Transalp owners looking for more comfort on long rides with their new Comfort Seats.

The Comfort Seats are manufactured in Germany by Touratech's partner Crew68, focusing on ease of use and convenience. They are easy to install, allowing riders to switch between the Comfort Seat and the stock saddle for different riding situations.

The seats are designed to strike a balance between comfort and firmness, using a firm foam core and a hollow groove along the saddle to provide support and relieve pressure on the coccyx. The seats are upholstered with waterproof and durable Fresh Touch fabric, with a suede-like finish that reflects infrared sunlight to reduce surface heating.

For the XL750 Transalp, the seats can be customized with three seat height options and different foam firmness levels to cater to a wider audience.

Executive Editor Jonathon Klein tested the Honda Transalp and found that a more comfortable saddle would have been beneficial for the longer road portions of his trip. Touratech offers the new Comfort Seat and other accessories for various bikes on their official webshop.
