Scorpion Introduces the Exo Tech Evo Pro Modular Helmet

Helmet manufacturer Scorpion has expanded its product lineup to cater to all types of motorcyclists. The brand received a significant boost when Fabio Quartararo won a race wearing a Scorpion Helmet in 2021. Although Quartararo has since switched to HJC, the brand's success in racing has had a positive impact overall.

Scorpion has now turned its attention to practical riders with its latest product, the Exo Tech modular helmet. This helmet is available in three versions: polycarbonate, carbon, and the new Exo Tech Evo Pro. The Exo Tech Evo Pro features a lightweight TCT fiber shell, which is lighter than the polycarbonate version but not as light as the carbon model.

The use of TCT fibers in the Exo Tech Evo Pro helmet enhances its ability to absorb and disperse impacts, surpassing the performance of a typical polycarbonate shell. This advanced material is also used in Scorpion's top-tier race helmets, such as the Exo R1 Air Evo.

The Exo Tech Evo Pro meets the stringent ECE 22.06 safety standards, ensuring it meets the highest safety requirements. One of its standout features is the 180-degree flip-up chinbar, which has P/J homologation. This feature makes the helmet convenient for touring and commuting, as the chinbar stays unobtrusive when flipped open, allowing for an easy transition between open-face and full-face riding.

The Exo Tech Evo Pro also includes other notable features. It comes with a Maxvision pinlock lens to prevent fogging and improve visibility. The helmet has a micrometric quick-release buckle for easy and secure fastening. It is also intercom-ready, compatible with various communication systems on the market, promoting safety and convenience.

To accommodate a wide range of riders, Scorpion offers the Exo Tech Evo Pro in seven sizes, from XS to XXL. The helmet also uses two shell sizes, with XS to L helmets sharing one size and XL to XXL helmets sharing another, ensuring a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing fit while maintaining safety standards.

In terms of pricing, the Exo Tech Evo Pro offers excellent value. The solid color options are priced at 399.90 Euros (approximately $426 USD), making it an affordable choice for riders seeking quality. The graphic versions are priced at 439.90 Euros (roughly $468 USD), providing a range of visual options to suit individual preferences.
